Rick Yancey Signing +Contest!

Hey all! So as you know, I drove yet another 5 hours to see Rick Yancey at Anderson's Bookshop in Naperville again! What can I say? I'm addicted to meeting new authors! And really, 5 hours isn't soooo bad! I rode (while my mom drove) 15 or 17 hours I think to South Carolina in Charleston so I could go to Savannah...which was like an hour or less away, to see authors at the AAD signing day! So yeah, 5 hours is easy! ;)

He was really fun to listen to too! And yes, he is sorta cuddling that owl! He brought it over from the display to set near his books for the obvious reasons! *Hint, look closely at the covers of his books. Such as the top of the trees, the watery puddle like thing on the second book!

He was funny too! I always enjoy hearing an author's road to publication and just other writing tips and ways! He talked a bit about the movie upcoming too! Which was in part why I made the trip to see him. Because as we know, once a book is made into a movie, the author becomes insanely huge and popular. Like Veronica Roth! I met her before the movie came out and her signing lines were manageable! I shutter to see them now!

I soooo can't wait for the movie! Rick says it will stay true to the book about 80%, which all things considered is great! And I learned that there will be 3 books to this series, so a trilogy! Hadn't seemed to find that information prior to last night, but now I know! And it just might mean I will have to drive up to Naperville again next year, so I can have a signed set! I'm CDO you know! ;)

I even ran into Nicole from Feed Your Fiction Addiction! I loooove meeting bloggers face to face, especially ones I've talked to for years! I was only sad that I didn't have time to linger and talk more, but I had a loooong drive ahead of me. Yes, I made this a day trip, although technically I didn't get home until 12:30 am!

So would you like to win a SIGNED copy of The Infinite Sea? This is the second installment in the series and you really must read The 5th Wave first, because it's that kind of chronological series! As you know I already read this one in a day! It was a rather quick and delightful read and ohhhhh, is there a game changer in this one!

If you would like to win a SIGNED copy of The Infinite Sea, just fill out the rafflecopter below. And once again, I must limit this to US only! Sorry!
