Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!
Another great week! I didn't intend to get so many books, but then a lot of my requests from Netgalley suddenly got acknowledge and approved! One's still pending, though and at this point, that's fine with me!
So for review from the publishers I got:
Broken by Marianne Curley (ARC)
Princess of Thorns by Stacey Jay (ARC)
Suspicion by Alexandra Monir (ARC)
THANK YOU Bloomsbury Publishing Pic, Delacorte Press (x2), & Netgalley!
Then in a roundabout way I received for review from a blogger friend, Jennifer from Some Like it Paranormal, who received it from the author:
Echoes by Michelle Rowen
THANK YOU Jennifer & Michelle!
And then finally, I bought these books myself:
The Maze Runner by James Dashner--yes the movie has gotten me interested in it because it looks incredible! So NATURALLY I have to read the book first! And I got a great deal on this one too!
Indelible by Dawn Metcalf
Ghost Layer by Robin D. Owens--again, still must read the first in this series but I got this one for such a good deal! Just $5 and change!
So what did you get?
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! You are making me so jealous, Jessica! Hhuhuhuhuh. I got rejected for the Princess of Thorns and I badly want it. It's a fairy tale retelling right? All is not lost though because it's also on Edelweiss so I sent a request there. :D
ReplyDeleteI really hope that you will love The Maze Runner. I really adored the whole series. Can't ait for the movie to come out.:D Have a fun weekend!
These all look awesome. I've just added Indelible and the first book in the Broken series to my Goodreads. Thanks for sharing!

Lots of wonderful books, Jessica. Don't you love it when all the publishers approve your requests at the same time and then you have a moment of panic that you'll have to review all these books? lol Happens to me all the time :) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read many great things about the Owens book and I confess I was disappointed by book 1 but I'm curious about the others. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteNice haul! Indelible has been on my TBR list for some time and it sounds super intriguing :) Hope you enjoy all of your books.

ReplyDeleteThe Maze Runner movie looks epic! I tried reading the book a couple years ago, but couldn't get through it. I might give it another go for the sake of this movie though. xD

That's a very nice haul this week, Jessica! I sometimes wonder about Netgalley, because usually, I have many titles pending for quite a while, and kind of think I won't get approved, and then all of a sudden, I receive several ARCs the same week.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll enjoy all your new goodies!
Thanks for stopping by yesterday.
