Sarah Maas, Susan Dennard, & Erica O'Rourke Signing +Contest!

Hey all! So Sunday I drove up to Naperville--about 5 hours mind you--in order to see Susan Dennard...and Erica O'Rourke & Sarah J. Maas. It was really Sarah's tour but she was joining up with author friends for some cities, and I decided I needed to see Susan, because I had some...uh things!...to discuss about her series! All in good nature, mind you (again!) and I totally got where she was coming from with said answer, but still...there were tears.

These three ladies were a blast to listen to! Very funny and inspiring too! I love how it seems all the authors I love are real life BFFs! The writing community is just so freaking amazing! I loved it!

My friend was supposed to join me on this trip, but she somehow forgot to request off work, so I went at it solo. But I did dig up an old picture--I somehow had nothing up to date, so her senior year picture had to do...it's only like 8 years old! So it was almost like she got to meet Sarah and get her picture taken with her! I even--don't tell her, and she doesn't read my blog as far as I know, because she's weird or just forgets--got her this awesome picture which I still must get developed or whatever we call it these days and a signed book!

And for you my dear followers, I also got you a book! A SIGNED copy of Throne of Glass! I did try this series, but I just never got into this one despite how nearly everyone I know loves it. But alas, I just didn't enjoy it enough. But no matter, Sarah has another series releasing next year that I SOOOOOO want to try, so that might be more my kind of read!
