Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!
Another awesome week filled with a few surprises too!
So firstly, from my trip to Anderson's for the multi-author signing, I picked up:
a totally cool t-shirt that speaks the truth!
and these two awesome bookmarks that initially saw on a website and lo and behold Anderson's had them! The first says Got Sprinkes? (with a totally yummy looking cupcake! I LOVE white icing and I imagine the cake is white too! Yup, I love boring vanilla x2 cake!)
The second says I am a Book Geek (more truth!)
Then I bought Dissonance by Erica O'Rourke because I hadn't bought it and naturally got it personalized! Erica used silver sharpie, so it's kind of hard to see, but it's there!
Then books I got for review this week from the publishers were:
When by Victoria Laurie (ARC) *Formerly titled Death Date
Reckoning by S.J. Harper
THANK YOU Disney-Hyperion, Netgalley, & Roc!!
Red Blooded by Amanda Carlson
The Witch with No Name by Kim Harrison (SIGNED!)
And that was my awesome week! What did you get?
Yay! So great! I saw the book by victoria laurie but didn't see it was by her. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSooooooo jealous of your new signed books, we never have anyone exciting come our way as they only tour the big cities and London (for example) is more than an hour and a half away on the train :(
ReplyDeleteNice looking books. Except for the one by Kim Harrison, I'm not familiar with those books or authors. I love your new t-shirt and bookmarks, too. I love literary t's and no one can ever have enough bookmarks. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThe Witch with no Name - with Kim Harrison's autograph!!! *squee* You got a really good haul this week, Jessica, I hope you'll enjoy those books you haven't read yet. I absolutely loved Dissonance, and the silver sharpie is a nice touch :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by yesterday.

ReplyDeleteThat shirt is awesome, and the cupcake on your bookmark looks delicious. I'm a vanilla girl too! :) I have so many bookmarks that I have bought and then promptly lost, it's such a problem!
ReplyDeleteI probably won't be able to make the Yancey signing, I already made plans with an old colleague for that evening. Blah. Can't wait to hear about it though! :)
