Stacking the Shelves

This weekly meme is hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!

This week I got absolutely nothing. :(

I went to the store intent on buying a book since I had a coupon but they didn't have the book like they say they do online! :(

It really stinks, every time I get a coupon from B&N there's never any books for me to buy! Going to try hitting another store today! Hopefully I have better luck.

The only upside is that I didn't add anything to my already overgrown TBR piles!

  1. That makes sense! LOL. Read the ones you already have while you can't get any new ones. ;)

  3. Thanks for stopping by my STS! I need one of those weeks to get absolutely nothing, it will help put a dent into my TBR pile. Have a good weekend!

  4. Nothing is nice too, like that you can read your old books.

  5. That is an upside. I will never read all the unread books I have at my house and yet I still keep buying more. Thanks for visiting my blog. Happy reading (from your TBR pile).

  6. Oh noes! You can't use the coupon on their website?

    Happy reading!

  7. I usually use my barnes & noble coupons to order online! AND they are usually really quick about mailing it out, much quicker then Amazon! It always sucks though when you go to the bookstore with the intent of getting a certain book and they don't have it in stock. Suck giant monkey balls! haha. Good luck on your book hunt! :)

  10. Aww, I hate it when that happens. Hope you find it somewhere else.
Maybe call and have them save at the Customer Service desk?
    Happy reading,

  11. I hate not getting any new books but my shelves would disagree! If you have a Kindle you should check Amazon as they have so many free books. :)

  14. Sometimes a catch-up week is good, although I can sympathize with your disappointment.

  15. Yeah, I need to stop adding books to my TBR pile. It's getting pretty intense. Hope you find the book you want!

  17. Not to worry, I'm sure you will find something you like soon. There is always something new coming out. And in the meantime, you can work on your TBR list. I would love it if mine would shrink a little.

    Thanks for dropping by :D

  22. Can't you use your coupon in their online store? I ended up doing it with my gift card because my local store never has anything I want to read anyway ;) Still, have a lovely week, Jessica!

  23. Awww, that's so sad! I feel your pain though--I went this past weekend with a 15% off coupon but couldn't really find anything good, but I ended up getting this whopping big copy of Les Mis that was on sale.

  24. That's EXACTLY what happened to me two weeks ago. I got these book vouchers for Christmas but when I went to one of the bookstores which is nearest to us, they didn't have anything I liked. :( Boo!
