In My Mailbox is a weekly blog post hosted by Kirsti over at The Story Siren and inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie.
A decent IMM this week, good and bad since that just adds to my growing TBR pile! This week's Follow Friday really made me realize my TBR pile is out of control!
So anyway here's what I added to the hoard:
Ghoul Interrupted by Victoria Laurie
Isle of Night by Veronica Wolff
Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer
Never to Sleep by Rachel Vincent*
Wicked Circle by Linda Robertson
Sins of the Demon by Diana Rowland
Charmfall by Chloe Neill
Silver-Tongued Devil by Jaye Wells**
*Now if only I could get my Kindle hooked back up to my wireless I'll be able to read Rachel's novella and knock off a book rather quickly from my TBR pile!

**Already read this one, but had to have my keeper copy and support Jaye! Here's my review if you were interested.
Then for doing Maria Snyder's book contest for her newest release, still holding my record for being the first one to enter, I got a special gift along with my signed bookplate:
No Man's Land edited by Mike McPhail
includes short stories by several authors including Maria's Godzilla Warfare! Thanks so much Maria!!
And that was my mailbox this week! Pretty damn good I thought! Of course now that adds 9 books to my TBR pile! Good and bad I suppose! :P
Oo I want isle of night too.

Nice mailbox! I know what you mean about an out of control TBR stack. I refuse to add Shadow Heir to my stack until I read the novels that preceded it. But I did add a couple from your list too. I got an autographed copy of Bloodrose when I went to Andrea's book release party. It was fun to meet her! Happy reading.
ReplyDeleteSHADOW HEIR!! Can't wait to see what you think! Be prepared ;) Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHow is it you always have the books I want? lol Can't wait to read your reviews about them now!!!
ReplyDeleteOh you had an awesome week! I've seen the Isle of Night a few times and thought about picking it up, but I'm trying so hard to get through the books I already have! I know, I always say that- but this year I REALLY want to be good and get a bunch read! Although I've been reading lots of my UF books and as soon as I finish I always want the next one. So it kind of feels like my pile never really shrinks.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, enjoy all your books!
I just finished Sins of the Demon. Rhyzkahl only makes one appearance :( but other than that it was pretty good. Hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAdding the Ghost Hunter Mysteries to my TBR list. Thanks for sharing!
Lots of awesome books you got this weekend. Got to catch up on some of the series that I read. Great haul this week. Thanks for stopping by yesterday.

Thanks for stopping by my IMM.
I have a bundle of 3 books in the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead, I can't wait to read them! I've had them on my nook for awhile. I haven't read any Chloe Neil, but I've seen her books all over and I'm really intrigued! I haven't read any of Rachel Vincent's books but the Soul Screamer's series looks wicked cool, might have to get a few eventually and try them out. I've heard awesome things about Andrea Cremer, yet another author I haven't red :X
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!! I hope you enjoy your books - looks like a fantastic lot!
