This week's question is: When you step out of your USUAL genre what do you like to read? Best books in that genre?

MY ANSWER: Yeah...that doesn't happen. I stay within my paranormal genre. The only thing that doesn't fit into that category really would be like when I read Maria Snyder's books which seem to be a little more fantasy, but there's still magic in them, so in way it can still fit into paranormal. I like my genre so I don't like leaving it.

  9. LOL Way to live on the wild side Jessica! ;) But I'm not one to talk either, I rarely venture outside of para fiction. I did give the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy a try. It actually wasn't horrible.

  22. I used to be like that where I just loved Paranormal Romance but then people would recommend certain books and thought i would try them and loved them.

  23. I usually stick to my little YA niche as well--unless there's something that I just HAVE TO read. And omg Maria Snyder's books are awesome!! <33 Have you read her Healer series?? I'm so excited for the sequel!

  24. Haha, as long as you know what you like, right? I try to balance out my reading list from time to time, but I do tend to stick to YA. Especially YA with killer action scenes.

  25. *Fist pumps the air at you* You said it girl. Why stray? I love supernatural fiction/paranormal romance, and though I do enjoy reading just about anything, nothing grabs like this fantasy world in which I wish I belonged! Thanks for stopping by the blog as usual!
