Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!
Well it was a good week and a bad week. I only bought one book, and it was one I read in e-arc format so this is just a keeper copy. So nothing really new to add to the TBR mountain which again is both good and bad I suppose!
Death and the Girl Next Door by Darynda Jones
It is good to have a week like yours once in a while. I won't ever catch up but that kind of week makes me think I might. That book is on my "I want to read it someday" list. There are a few hundred YAs I already have that are ahead of it. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt is sometimes nice to get books that you've already read so you have a chance to catch up some. This one sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI need to read this as I got my copy through NG. Thanks for visiting me yesterday.

Hmmmm... A keeper copy. That basically means that it's worth reading, no? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see you enjoyed Death and the Girl Next Door. I have that one on my Mountain of Doom :D
ReplyDeleteSlow weeks are nice sometimes!
Its always fun to buy a keeper book, to sit there and pet the cover, smell the pages, and neatly put on shelf. That's my routine anyways.
ReplyDeletethis one is on my to read list! haven't read anything by this author!
ReplyDeleteOoh, looks like a really good one :)

Not heard of this book before but it sounds interesting, hope you enjoy it :)
ReplyDeleteYes. Sometimes it's good to have a week where nothing gets added to a shelf already over flowing with great reads.

ReplyDeleteSome weeks getting no new books for me is good, then I can tackle my TRB pile!

Haven't heard about this title but looks really interesting! Thanks for stopping by my STS!
ReplyDeleteI'm on a really pressing book buying ban! Although I'm cheating this week again... I just bought Pretty Little Liars. Bad me. Ah well, books make me happy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! And thanks for stopping by.
Quiet weeks are great sometimes :) It's bad because you don't get too many new books but it's definitely good because you can catch up with your TBR list!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of this one. I never really paid attention to it but I might just have to. But not adding more books to your tbr pile is a good thing. I should probably follow my own advice sometimes, lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for passing by my post. Sorry for the late response!
