This week's question is: Have you ever read a book that you thought you would hate — ? Did you end up hating it? Did you end up loving it? Or would you never do that?

MY ANSWER: Well I guess the closest I came was Rachel Vincent's Stray. I remember being nervous thinking that it was going to be a total romance, since it was stocked in the romance section. But when I saw so many authors I already loved on the cover quoting its awesomeness, I decided to give it a try. And naturally I ended up loving it!

  1. I have to admit, I've never actually heard of this book before. I'm going to go and check it out.

  6. I totally ended up loving this series too! I was hesitant to try ti out since soo many people were raving about it, i was worried that my expectations would be too high.

  7. Ooh, that's good to hear Jessica! I was wondering if I should pick up that series and if it would be good. It seems we like similar paranormal books, so I'm going to give them a shot!

  17. I'm not into books that are full on romance either. There has to be some sort of kick butt action to keep me interested. xD

Thanks for stopping by! Old follower.

  18. I haven't read this book, but I'd be the same way. Usually I stay away from romance just with the thought that I won't like it, so if I were to pick up something like this in that section I would be expecting the worst. At least you still gave it a shot and it worked out for the best! Me, I just don't even try so I never know. Maybe I should, it's good to try new things every once in a while. (But so many books, and so little time!)

  24. For me, covers are a big part of my decision to read a book, not it's genre, but I like your post.
