I hate waiting...
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly blog post by Jill over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights releases we're eagerly awaiting. From #1 New York Times bestselling authors Jodi Picoult and her daughter and co-writer, Samantha van Leer, comes OFF THE PAGE, a tender and appealing romantic YA novel filled with humor, adventure, and magical relationships.
Sixteen-year-old Delilah is finally united with Oliver—a prince literally taken from the pages of a fairy tale. There are, however, complications now that Oliver has been able to enter the real world. To exist in Delilah’s world, Oliver must take the place of a regular boy. Enter Edgar, who agrees to take Oliver’s role in Delilah’s favorite book. In this multilayered universe, the line between what is on the page and what is possible is blurred, but all must be resolved for the characters to live happily ever after. Includes twelve full-color illustrations, and black-and-white decorations throughout.
Full of humor and witty commentary about life, OFF THE PAGE is a stand-alone novel as well as a companion to the authors’ bestseller Between the Lines, and is perfect for readers looking for a fairytale ending. Fans of Sarah Dessen and Meg Cabot are sure to appreciate this novel about love, romance, and relationships.
Ohhh I was seeing everyone get an ARC of this last week and let me tell you, my eyes were getting a little green with envy! LOL! I still need to read the first book, which I plan to do soon, but there's still something to be envious of the presentation of some of these ARCs! They are SO beautiful! I mean I am grateful for whatever ARC I receive, but they usually just come in an envelope. Then you see ARCs like this! And just...WOW!
TITLE: Off the Page
AUTHOR: Jodi Picoult & Samantha Van Leer
ILLUSTRATOR: Yvonne Gilbert
PUBLISHER: Delacorte Books for Young Readers
GENRE: Fantasy YA
RELEASE DATE: May 19, 2015
Jared is Vera's perfect man—until he opens his mouth. An incredible body and set of wings can only go so far when everything he says seems designed to make her mad. Still, she can't deny her intense attraction or the fact that he is the closest thing she has to a friend.
Jared doesn't go for bear shifters, especially ones that are related to his ex, but he can't resist Vera's charm or the way she understands him better than anyone else.
As suspicions build and loyalties are tested, Vera and Jared realize that they may not be able to trust anyone but each other.
Really like this series! It's the first spinoff of Alyssa's Crescent Chronicles and I loved that series! This one basically showed some of our favorite characters, plus new ones! I was surprised this was a 4th book in The Empire Chronicles, I first thought Jared was getting his own series, but it's still a continuation of this one. Whatever way, it works for me!
TITLE: Savor
AUTHOR: Alyssa Rose Ivy
PUBLISHER: Self (unknown of the platform)
GENRE: Paranormal New Adult
RELEASE DATE: April 30, 2015
The Maze Runner meets Scott Westerfeld in this gripping new series about teens held captive in a human zoo by an otherworldly race. From Megan Shepherd, the acclaimed author of The Madman's Daughter trilogy.
When Cora Mason wakes in a desert, she doesn't know where she is or who put her there. As she explores, she finds an impossible mix of environments—tundra next to desert, farm next to jungle, and a strangely empty town cobbled together from different cultures—all watched over by eerie black windows. And she isn't alone.
Four other teenagers have also been taken: a beautiful model, a tattooed smuggler, a secretive genius, and an army brat who seems to know too much about Cora's past. None of them have a clue as to what happened, and all of them have secrets. As the unlikely group struggles for leadership, they slowly start to trust each other. But when their mysterious jailer—a handsome young guard called Cassian—appears, they realize that their captivity is more terrifying than they could ever imagine: Their captors aren't from Earth. And they have taken the five teenagers for an otherworldly zoo—where the exhibits are humans.
As a forbidden attraction develops between Cora and Cassian, she realizes that her best chance of escape might be in the arms of her own jailer—though that would mean leaving the others behind. Can Cora manage to save herself and her companions? And if so . . . what world lies beyond the walls of their cage?
This one sounds SO. GOOD! I did buy myself Megan's first book two weeks ago and hope to read it sometime before this one, but with my luck it won't turn out that way! LOL! I've entered contests and put in a request via a different route after getting 3 rejections from Edelweiss! So I'm hoping one of these will pan out!

Awesome picks! I'm also looking forward to The Cage :) I haven't heard of the first series but I have read some of Alyssa Rose Ivy's books.
