This week's question is: How do you cure a book hangover/blogging slump/reading slump? - Suggested by Take Me Away...
MY ANSWER: I guess it's kind of unoriginal, but I've never found myself in a book hangover/blogging or reading slump. I enjoy reading and blogging and there's SO much I want to read and blog about that I just keep moving from book to book. So, sorry, no tips or tricks because I've had no cause to need them.
Lucky you! I do find myself in a reading slump but not really often. :)
ReplyDeleteI can relate to you :) I don't usually find myself in a book hangover, although I do occasionally have blogging slumps... (: Happy Friday!

wow. never a reading slump. I am impressed. It doesn't happen to me much, lots o books to choose from. but sometimes it happens.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a proper one but I've been slightly disheartened! But I couldn't really give any tips either! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend :)

I move from book to book very quickly as well. But I had what I think is my very first book hangover recently. The book was just so good that I was totally depressed because I couldn't imagine anything else ever being that good, and it felt like, why bother ever reading again? But I did finally figure something out. This: http://www.bookpunks.com/finish-the-best-book-youve-ever-read-and-despair/
ReplyDeleteCheers.
I'm like you Jessica and have never really had a reading slump. I change things up with every book purposely so I don't get bored with a series, genre or author, works for me.

So great that you've never been in a slump! I've only had one or two and they never last long at all thankfully :)

Good for you! I don't really get into slumps like most people do, either. For me, it's mostly a matter of having so much to do (reading, writing, blogging, work, family, social) that I don't have the time I'd like and when I do, I kind of want to relax my brain. So my slumps are different than most people's. Anyway, thanks for visiting my blog. :D Happy Friday! My FF
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky! I've been reading multiple books that haven't interested me at all recently so that's been putting me in bit of a slump. I'll just have to find a bunch of books I REALLY want to read!

Haha! Well, I can't really hold it against you! :P You're super lucky!

That's awesome that you've never had a slump! I've had way more of them that I want. LOL

Lucky! I tried to pretend I wasn't in a reading slump this winter but I totally was. Reading multiple books helps me not get to many hangovers but nothing was really blowing me away. But I don't think I have been in a blogging slump yet, so that's good.

Lucky lucky lady! :) I've got an endless list of stuff to read/do as well, but still find myself stuck sometimes!

Your lucky and it's great that you've found a way not to have to deal with those pesky slumps. I envy that. Old Follower!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I hope you never have to go through a reading slump because it's so not fun! Gahh just thinking about it!!

Lucky! I love reading too but I do find myself in slumps. It's usually because I've read too many mediocre books in a row or because I'm just tired or stressed out in general. I just need to take a break or find something I'm really excited about to read. I always get out of the slump though. I can't NOT be reading!

You are immune!! We need to study you :p lol
ReplyDeleteYou cure yourself with another dose of books, as me.
ReplyDeleteSilvy from Books are my life.
Blogging slump, I take a lil breather or hiatus and then return with renovated energies, because as soon as I don't feel like I "HAVE" to do something, I get tons of ideas for posts and the like!
ReplyDeleteAnd for reading slumps... I once again don't push myself, catch up on shows or movies or doing other stuff and soon enough I'm itching to grab a book and get reading!
You're very lucky if you haven't experienced a reading slump.

You are so lucky!!! Sometimes I just can't find the right book to read. I read books that are hyped up, books that sound good, books that just came out.. Taking a break helped me, though. (: Thanks for stopping by!
