Emma has just
learned that her mother is a long-lost Poseidon princess, and now
struggles with an identity crisis: As a Half-Breed, she’s a freak in the
human world and an abomination in the Syrena realm. Syrena law states
all Half-Breeds should be put to death.
As
if that’s not bad enough, her mother’s reappearance in the Syrena world
turns the two kingdoms—Poseidon and Triton—against one another. Which
leaves Emma with a decision to make: Should she comply with Galen’s
request to keep herself safe and just hope for the best? Or should she
risk it all and reveal herself—and her Gift—to save a people she’s never
known?
Once again, Anna Banks infuses Emma and Galen’s points of view with humor, intrigue, and waves of romance.
Yet again, I post another cover to a series that I still need to start! Of Poseidon sounded awesome by the reviews I read earlier this summer! Although this cover just seems awkward. It doesn't really fit with the first one, besides the underwater theme. This time around you can see the people more clearly and definitely. I don't know how I really feel about this one (coverwise).
Here's the cover of the first book, which I really really liked!
Of Triton releases May 28, 2013
I love the second cover more than the first. Plus I just like the whole underwater kissing thing. :p
ReplyDeleteOHHH I so can't wait to read this book. I am not loving the cover quite as much as the first but I love that it has both Galen and Emma on the cover underwater. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThey'are mermaids....I don't think the cover is awkward at all. The first book was amazing and I can't wait to read the follow up!
