This week's question is: What is the last book that made you cry? Tell us about the scene...
MY ANSWER: Oh man! I can't remember really. I don't usually cry after books either. But I think if I had to say it was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and yeah, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! Those were tear jerkers for the obvious reasons! Won't say what for spoilers since I know not everyone has read or seen them and I don't want to give out spoilers even years after the releases!
The last one gets me every time!
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter gets me everytime too, It doesn't matter how many times I have read these books I still cry buckets.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Happy Holidays!
There is no doubt that Harry Potter has it's moments of tear jerkyness (Not sure if that's a word).
ReplyDeleteMy FF @ Marilyn's Mystery Blog

Old follower, the last Harry Potter is definitely the saddest, I cried a lot, thanks for stopping by
ReplyDeleteFor spoiler purposes we can't really say a lot, but I think a lot of readers definitely cried in the last few. I did in 5 just because of all the hardships and 7 because of a particular scene. Great post. Thank you for stopping by my FF. Old Follower :D
ReplyDeleteYes! I named both of those 'Harry Potter' books as well. And honestly, as hard as it was to read 'Deathly Hallows', I found it even harder to watch the movies. When Sirius tells Harry he'll be there to the end, I cried like a baby.
ReplyDelete*raises hand* I haven't read and watched all the HP books yet. I am reading the French versions with my 10-year-old now. My older kids were never interested.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my FF post earlier.
Old follower :) Have a fantastic Friday.
Oh man, the last three Harry Potter books were horrible! I mean, they were great, but they broke my heart and stomped all over it. Starting with Sirius, and then it just never got better...
ReplyDeleteoh nice choices!
ReplyDeleteold follower. happy weekend!

Nope, those didn't get to me, oddly enough. I suppose I wasn't so involved in the characters that died in that series. It was a bit too 'YA' for me.

ReplyDeleteI did see all the movies, but I didn't care much at all for the last 4 or so, thought they were boring and anti-climactic. So no crying there....
