Stacking The Shelves is all about the books we are adding to our shelves each week, sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles and maybe have you discover a new book in the process!
Well it was a good Christmas week! I got a few books at Christmastime and some gift cards for more books. So all in all very good! So this is my picture from Follow Friday and it remained to be my book haul for the week! So again, I got:
Biblio Vampiro: An Essential Guide to Vampires and, More Importantly, How to Avoid Them* by Dr. Robert Curran
Curtsies and Conspiracies by Gail Carriger
Rebel Spring by Morgan Rhodes
Snakeroot by Andrea Cremer
The Fairest of Them All by Carolyn Turgeon
Then I got a gift card to Barnes & Noble from my sister
Then changed that BooksaMillion card to an Amazon one (since the previous is from last week) from my aunt and uncle
*As mentioned on Friday, I asked for these because I thought I could learn a few things about the creatures to add into my writing to maybe jazz it up a bit!
That's what I got this week! What did you get?!
Interesting book choices on the first couple. Good luck on your writing!

My Book Haul
Nice haul! I have Snakeroot on my stack too. I liked Curtsies & Conspiracies but not as much as her adult books. Thanks for visiting my posts. Happy reading and happy new year!
ReplyDeleteNice haul, Jessica :) The Biblio Vampire... seems to be quite humorous - I would want to be able to stay away from vampires (if they were real) as well, so a guide book on how to achieve that could always come in handy ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by yesterday.

Great haul! The cover for Rebel Spring jumped out at me and it's about time I checked out Morgan Rhodes' books! Enjoy :)
