Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! The meme is now hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality.

This was another slow week in some ways. I got a few books this week! Plus my Secret Santa gift which as of this moment of writing my post I have not opened yet. I making myself send off my Secret Santa's before I allow myself to open mine. I just gotta wrap it. Which FYI Secret Santa people, my wrapping skills have yet to approve with time! LOL!

But anyway, since I will likely open that next week, here's what I got this week:

Full Moons and Mistletoe by Alyssa Rose Ivy--already read and reviewed! I don't know why I passed on this one last year, but since it came up FREE this week, I downloaded it and then immediately purchased the next one!
Full Moons and Candy Canes by Alyssa Rose Ivy

Brave by Jennifer L. Armentrout--SIGNED! I decided to just go ahead and order this beauty signed! *That way* the next time I meet Jennifer I won't have a huge stack of books to get signed! Lol! At least that's my reasoning! So it's a totally frugal purchase!

Caraval by Stephanie Garber--the Waterstones' Edition paperback! Yes, I'm slightly nuts! I paid a pretty penny to get this edition! The stained edges are so pretty too!

And then I won a contest at Silver's Reviews and received this beauty!

The Faerie Handbook by Carolyn Turgeon

THANK YOU Elizabeth & Harper Design!

And finally, I bought yet another book sleeve from Fandom Designs--my family already thinks I'm nuts buying so many of these! But I HAD to get this one!

It's Chapter 55 from a beloved book! I was sooo excited to snag one of these!! It's beautiful!!

And that was my haul this week! What did you all get?

  6. Great haul! I love Alyssa Rose Ivy. I've been so busy I must have missed the new one. The first one was great. Caraval reminds me of the Night Circus's cover beautiful. I hope you enjoy your new books. Have a great week.

  7. Hurray for Secret Santa! You have more self control than I do - I definitely would've opened it already. xD That new Caraval edition is so pretty! I really need to get on the book sleeve bandwagon. They're so cute! Have a great week :D

  8. You've met JLA before? Oh, the jealousy is strong with this one. I'd love to meet her, and I too would have a giant stack of books for her to sign. I'd also buy all of the ones I haven't yet (her NA books mostly), just to get those signed as well.

    Happy reading!

  9. You just reminded me that I need to put book sleeves on my Christmas list! I won't quite have a collection like you, but that's okay. :-)

  14. Lovely looking books. I have switched to Kindle books for better than 90% of my new books since I am running out of space on my bookshelves and have nowhere to build more. I miss seeing the covers and other unique details of print books but it is the inside that has always been the most important to me. Happy reading!

  15. I recently did a cover meme and featured Caraval, so I was aware that a UK paperback edition had come out. But ooh, now that I see it in your picture it looks even prettier in real life! And I hadn't even known about the stained pages! Definitely worth it :)
