This week's question is: How do you organize your books for review? Does it work for you or have you had to change it? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)
MY ANSWER: Generally I read them in the order I receive them in since they tend to be few and far between. Though in the rare moments where that's not the case, I'll read them based on release date. Whatever releases first gets read first...which works well for me.
I definitely need a better way to choose my reading material. Sometimes it's willy nilly, but I have a review list I go to first.

Sounds like a clear cut way to handle it. I prioritise ARCs, but otherwise, my choices are pretty fluid.
ReplyDeleteIf it works well for you, yay! I haven't seen many people who have had to change their organizational style, and that's pretty cool. Happy reading!

That seems to be a simple and efficient way of organising your books to read. As long as it works for you, that's all that matters :) I tend to have a spreadsheet/schedule that lets me note which review requests I have to complete first so that I am able to prioritise those books, but I also like to be able to read what I want when I want.

Going by the release date is how I do it too.
ReplyDeleteI use an online calendar with color coding as well as a spreadsheet and my blog.
Thanks for sharing.
That seems like a pretty good system! I try to do the same with my library books by reading the books closer to their due dates. Great answer!
